Handling cruiseship bg guide2 tempatan bukan la satu kerja yg mudah. Sebelum ni pun aku blik2 dengar handle cruise adalah paling payah kalo dibandingkan sama tugas2 yg len. Ramai senior guide yg cakap, handling cruiseship la yg paling senang kena complaint itu ini. Almaklumlah, semua pelancong dlm ni cruiseship sah2 org kaya. Jadi expectation diorg pun besar mcm gunung kinabalu.OK, pic di sebelah ni nama cruise ni Nautica dari America. Time ni aku blom handle lagi la. Time ni aku kena suruh ikut famtrip. Senior guide jadi main guide, aku cuma ikut dia p sana sini jadi mcm pembantu. At the same time blajar juga la camna dia handle ni grup. Tapi btul la Pamela (nama senior guide yg aku ikut tu) respect sama ko..suda la english mantap, info pun mantap juga...mcm susah betul ko mo beranti becakap tem tu kan?? haha..Nda pa, yg penting byk betul aku blajar sama ko.
Apa yg penting, perlu la di ingat, kebanyakan pelancong2 cruiseship ni suda berumur. Jadi, masa handle a group kan, extra attention should be given to them. Especially those who could not walk properly due to sakit sana dan sini. Bahaya ni buss..and senang jak mo detect diorg ni..kebanyakn diorg ni pakai walking stick tem berjalan.
Hampir sebulan suda cruiseship Nautica berlalu. Tiba2 kedengaran news dari office, got another 4 cruises will be arriving here in KK. What shocked me the most, the lady boss asked me whether i could handle the cruise group or not? and definitely i said yes!!..ya lah..mo try new experience kan..Apa lagi si kawan..trus ba nama aku masuk dalam list2 guide yg bakal handle upcoming cruiseship..
Without realizing, as the time past by, the next cruise ship has arrived.

The day is around the corner. Sh*t man!! 2 days before the cruise arrive aku kena demam plak ni...kureng tul..batuk2, sniff2 sbb slisma mmg la kurang keselesaan ni tmbh2 lg mo guiding alahai...
Tapi nda pa, langkah2 terawal untuk kasi baik ni damam perlu di ambil. Jadi membeli la aku beberapa ubat (mcm actifast, strepsil, byk lg la..) semangat ni bus untuk kasi baik...bukan sebab mo jadi perfect guide, tp sebab takut kana complaint oleh guess..
1 day before the cruise arrival, sempat juga la p cc di Damai mo cari info (mo kasi mantap lg ni info, takut blank ba tem2 berdiri di depan ramai2 pelancong tu). Tapi nda pa, konsep pasrah tu mesti ada. Insyaallah, boleh di urus tu. Disebabkan pemikiran pasrah tu la juga tidur ku lena mlm tu.
The has come, i wake up exactly on 3a.m, mo mandi, ready trus tolak dari rumah pukul 5 a.m. Sebab kena suruh gather d opis puku 6a.m. Nasib bek tem tu hari sabtu, so kureng la trafic jam nya. If i am not mistaken la kan, mula2 aku cuma kena assigned 1 tour saja ba "KK Highlight aka KK city tour" - places it covers such as Museum, city mosque, Menara tun mustapa, UMS, Tg Aru beach, Shangri-La Tg Aru Resort, Philipino Market, dan lastly state mosque. Tp bila sampai saja sana port, (while waiting for the cruise to dock) tiba2 kena kasi tau lepas tu KK city tour, aku buat lg Color of Borneo tour. Alahai bus, bikin tekajut ni (the tour however covers - City Mosque, Menara Tun Mustapha, UMS, Kellybays Tuaran, and Tung Hup Lee Pottery factory.
Once the cruise docked, and lepas assist to tampal2 all the bus signages and susun atur all the busses, nah...masa yg mendegupkan jiwa hampir tiba, bila pelancong2 suda start kluar dari tu kapal and masuk p bus2 yg disediakan, terutama sekali bila diorg masuk bas aku...
First thing first, was to collect all the tickets. This task was a bit easier, coz got a person who assisted me to count all the tickets which have been collected. Alrite, all together, we had 36 pax tht time...(wow...so many people then..). Once all the tourists were already in the bus, i asked the driver to close the door, and turn on the microphone...
Moment of dupdap...dupdap....nervous to the death!!~
I started to introduce myself, and the driver, and miraculously the feeling of the nervous just for sekejap jak. Mungkin sebab aku rasa senang, bila jak aku pegang microphone and start to introduce my self, all of the guests were paying attention to me, and with a big smile on their face as well. I felt pleasant, and due to that as well, things which i wanted to tell them smoothly came out from my mouth. Furthermore, some of the info, were automatically kluar dari mulut juga. Ni pun satu susah betul aku mo percaya. Tapi apa2pun bersyukur la kan..yg penting the tour suda abes, adn they were definitely satisfied.
